Mr Derek Seong, Previously a Company Sergeant Major, he decided to leave his prospective career for the artistic path in dance. He starts his full time dance education career in 2007.
He used to be a part-lecturer in NAFA and currently teaching in many government schools. Apart from achieving distinction award for Jazz & Hip Hop from Australian Teachers of Dancing International (ATODI), he was the first in Asian to obtain a Honours with Distinction for Contemporary Dance level 5 in 2014. Recently in 2018, he was awarded with Distinction for Inter-foundation from Royal Academy of Dance (RAD – Ballet). In the area of Martial Arts, Mr Derek is an official judge and coach under Singapore Wushu Federation. He founded Dancescape (Singapore), a non-profit dance organisation, to provide platforms and opportunities for passionate youths to develop strong foundation in dance and to train on their ability to perform and showcase their dance talent professionally. He strongly believes that dance is only complete with a good learning attitude. With this belief, he places great emphasis on character development. |
Mr Wilson Wong, has a strong desire in creating and maintaining businesses, and has been involved in the incubation, funding and operations of start-ups in various local industries (Performing Arts, Design & Print, Personal Care etc).
He was actively involved in national performances such as National Day Parades and Chingay from 1997 - 2016 Being one of the few trainers to be certified (both arts & music) under the MOE's Arts & Music Instructor Scheme (AMIS), he also completed NCAP Level 1 & NSYS Course (Sports Singapore), obtained Honours in ATOD(I) Hip Hop Level 8 and recently Early Childhood Education for the Arts (NAC).
